Bake-Out Oven

PSGP offers the only fully automated bake-out cylinder system on the market, available in a 6-cylinder or 12-cylinder model. Access doors for loading/unloading cylinders are provided on each side of the unit with no ramps to roll up and down.

The bake-out cycle is controlled by a PLC with an operator interface screen. The operator can pre-set the parameters of the bake-out process. This includes:

Cylinder Temperature Set Point
Vacuum (microns) Set Point
Vacuum hold time
Purge gas hold time
The number of cycles (vent,
      vacuum, purge)
End under purge or vacuum.

The cylinder manifold is manufactured out of 2" SS pipe, all welded with flexible metal SS pigtail hoses for cylinder connections using high integrity face seal fittings. A Kinney KC-15 vacuum pump is provided with the vacuum piping, consisting of an o-ring seal vacuum flange connector and a 2" diaphragm seal high vacuum isolation valve.

Transducers monitor the vacuum, cylinder wall temperature, oven temperature and purge pressure. The unit also will provide alarms if the vacuum is taking too long or overheating, or if no purge gas is available.

All of these features add up to high integrity vacuums pulled on the cylinders with the entire bake-out process fully automated. Each unit is shipped fully assembled as a skid package and comes pre-tested.
