Computers Unlimited's Mobile Delivery Features Industry Standards in a Complete Solution

Built on Industry Standards
TIMS Mobile Delivery is your single solution for delivery of gases, hardgoods and rental equipment. The software runs on Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system and is fully integrated with the core TIMS for Windows product, which is powered by Microsoft Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL 2005 database.

Running on the industry standard Windows Mobile operating system has its advantages. It is the de facto standard for all of today's leading mobile computer manufacturers, including Handheld Products, Intermec, Symbol, TDS and Casio, to name a few. Because CU's Mobile Delivery is built on Windows Mobile, migrating to these other companies is almost effortless. Now that is investment protection! Whereas the disadvantage to using proprietary handheld hardware and operating systems is the constant risk of a product becoming obsolete. A manufacturer can discontinue a given product at any time.

It's Easy to Use
Simply press the download button on the handheld to download the day's deliveries over a wireless network, saving you time and streamlining the entire process from order creation to delivery. It's that easy! Prior to departure, the driver also has the option to scan the entire truckload with the same handheld. This is a great way to reduce and/or eliminate cylinder issues and allow for end-of-day truck audits.

When the driver makes a delivery, key information automatically displays on the screen. It's like having the paper delivery ticket right there with you! A unique staging feature makes it easy to scan bar codes for cylinder ships and returns, while system messages automatically pop up when additional information like lot numbers and variable volume are required. The system records a time stamp each time a cylinder is scanned and records the customer's signature for proof of delivery. This information can be quickly faxed or e-mailed to the customer from the TIMS for Windows system for prompt resolution of cylinder disputes. You can also process hardgoods and rental equipment on the same order, as well as create new orders while out on the road. Talk about a full service handheld for you and your customers!

Mobile Delivery can also be used to record cylinder movement between branches for greater asset control and accountability.

Seamless Integration
Uploading completed deliveries to TIMS is very simple. Just press the upload button on the handheld and the information flows seamlessly over the wireless network for quicker invoicing. This also ensures that your cylinder billing balances actually balance with your asset balances. Best of all, no manual entry or additional labor is required, preventing costly data entry errors and inconsistencies. It's that simple.
