Customer Centric Supplies Swift Access to Vital Data

Customer Centric, Computers Unlimited's latest software innovation, is the ultimate customer service tool. With seamless integration to TIMS for Windows and an easy-to-use interface, Customer Centric provides the critical information that leads to superior customer service. With powerful search, filter, display and export capabilities, Customer Centric will amaze you at how quick and easy it is to find key information on a customer's account. Add to these features the power to customize individual data columns, and presenting information to suit your needs is now a reality.

Receivables
Set things in motion with a graphical view of a customer's A/R balances, and quickly identify problematic invoices with the aid of user-defined aging buckets. Further your inquiry by drilling down to view current and historical A/R invoices (regular, monthly, cylinder rental, lease and finance charge), corresponding payments and credits, due dates and deposits. With a click of the mouse, view an entire invoice and corresponding proof of delivery image. And with full support for printing, faxing and e-mailing, getting critical information into the customer's hand is easier than ever!

Cylinders
Customer Centric puts cylinder information at your fingertips! Quickly view tracking methods, cylinder ownership, rental codes, pricing levels, P/O information and lease balances. View cylinder rental balances at the summary level or drill down to analyze detailed transactions all the way from filling to billing. The powerful data export utility allows you to quickly export cylinder transactions to common PC products like Excel® or invoke the image viewer for viewing, printing, faxing and e-mailing proof of deliveries for prompt resolution of cylinder disputes. Now that's customer service!

Sales
The ability to proficiently analyze sales, orders and contract pricing is a competitive advantage in today's market. Customer Centric provides the power to view detailed line item sales on a month-to-date basis or quickly switch views to see aggregate amounts by year-to-date and life-to-date. Powerful search filters make it easy to analyze past purchases and find invoices faster. The system's built-in support for printing, faxing and e-mailing streamlines distribution of invoices and proof of delivery images. A unified view of contract pricing can be reviewed and analyzed with ease.

Rental Equipment and Notes
View complete details of a customer's rental equipment activity, balances and rental time periods, a definite must for operating your equipment business efficiently. The ability to view a customer's notes from TIMS makes correspondence a breeze!

Quick Lookups
To achieve superior customer service, Customer Centric introduces several efficient lookup utilities for common daily tasks. The Customer Pricing tool lets you view a customer's item price without accessing TIMS Order Entry. The Tag Inquiry lookup presents a cylinder's entire history, workflow transitions and proof of deliveries in one simple-to-use window. Count on the "Google® -like" auto search function for faster lookups and uncomplicated access to data.

(what people are talking about)

Harsco Corp. Pursues Divestiture of Gas Group (Harrisburg, PA) • Harsco Corporation is exploring the divestiture of its Gas Technologies business group, Harsco GasServ. The company says there can be no assurance that its decision to explore a sale of Harsco GasServ will result in any strategic transaction. Says Harsco Chairman and CEO Derek C. Hathaway, "Based on our experience, we anticipate that this process of finding a suitable new home for the Harsco GasServ group could take until the third quarter of this year to complete. During this time, we will continue to be focused on providing the highest level of service to our customers and partners."

A & B Supply Launches Propane Division (Lake Havasu City, AZ) • A & B Supply opened a propane division in January in an effort to further diversify its operations. The company purchased three propane delivery trucks, which are filled out of A & B Supply's Lake Havasu City fill plant. "We've always done a little bit of propane, but we hadn't done bulk delivery before, so this is a new experience for us," says Vice President John Hobday. "We did a lot of research beforehand and have worked on getting the word out, and it's taking off big."

AOC Upgrades Facilities (Harlingen, TX) • AOC broke ground this month on a new, 20,000 sq. ft. headquarters office in Harlingen, TX, and is in the process of adding a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse at its fill plant at the Port of Harlingen. The company also is constructing three new retail stores in Bay City, Laredo and northwest Houston, TX, in order to relocate the three branches already at those locations. The new stores, expected to be completed within the next year, are the final leg of a decade-long effort to update and streamline AOC's branch locations, incorporating similar physical characteristics and merchandising. "We've reached a point where all of our structures will be physically the same, so a manager can go to another store and find everything is in exactly the same place," says AOC President Bert Wolf.

Matheson Tri-Gas Expands
(Basking Ridge, NJ) • Matheson Tri-Gas' first air separation unit in Vernon, CA, is shipping product to the industrial gas user market, and continued strong sales growth will accelerate planning to install additional capacity in Southern California. Praxair Expands Production Capacities (Danbury, CT) • Praxair, Inc. will expand its storage and industrial gas production capacities at its Kirtland, NM, facility. The expansion doubles the current storage capacity and increases production capacity by 100 to 150 tons per day over the next two years. "This phased-in expansion is in response to the growing demand by oil and gas production customers located in the San Juan basin in Colorado and New Mexico," says Scott Kaltrider, regional vice president, west region, North American Industrial Gases.

Lincoln Electric Forms Racing Agreement (Cleveland, OH) • Lincoln Electric formed a team-supplier agreement with Robert Yates Racing, home of drivers #38 David Gilliland, #88 Ricky Rudd and #90 Stephen Leicht.
